 UP IN THE GALAXY

Episode 1: “When the Rainbow Whispers to the Sand”

On a remote beach under a starry sky, an old wise man gathers the children of his tribe around a campfire. He begins to recount the tale of the boy king of the galaxy, a story of courage, betrayal, and redemption that transcends time and space. The children are captivated as he describes Kito’s dream of surfing down a spiraling rainbow in space, effortlessly cool and confident—the opposite of his shy, insecure self. The dream fades as Kito wakes to his father’s voice, calling him to prepare for the day. As Kito bathes, holographic news clips play around him, reporting minor alien skirmishes on the galaxy’s outer rim. The threat seems distant and insignificant.

Kito goes to school, where we are introduced to his classmates, including his arranged bride Nia, who dismisses him as weak, and the bullies who mock him for his awkwardness. The lesson of the episode is that change needs to happen and Kito needs to learn to stand up for himself.

Episode 3: “The Starry Mane and the Serpent’s Jest”

Kito awakens in a vast, psychedelic desert under a swirling multicolored sky. He is greeted by the Prankster Deities:

    - **Zola**: A glowing serpent, representing **intuition**. Her scales shimmer with iridescent light, and her eyes hold galaxies within them. She teases Kito for overthinking and vows to sharpen his instincts.

    - **Kofi**: A baboon with a drum, representing **humor and adaptability**. His drum beats echo through the desert, creating ripples in the fabric of reality. He ridicules Kito’s seriousness and pledges to teach him to laugh at life’s absurdities.

The deities reveal they were sent by King Biban, the original king of the galaxy and now a deity.
